In Hail or “The Bottle Factory Betrayal”


Created by Luke Deane and Ragnar Olafsson for Cross-Linx Festival 2016, The Bottle Factory Betrayal is a duo performance in which an absurdist story unfolds between two musicians, who fail to get along and eventually try to kill one another.

The performance is a kind of time-loop, where parts of the story are staged and performed musically in reverse, giving the piece a somewhat unique sense of virtuosity. The audience are featured in the performance.
