Opéra pour insectes (fiction politique)

Luke has composed an Opera in collaboration with french Author and now Librettist Julie Gilbert (currently working - https://vousetesici.ch/info). The opera tells the story of a lone survivor of an apocalyptic event who attempts to go into the wilderness and live with a community of insects.
The opera was completed whilst on the TOTEM residency in Charltruse with ensemble Asko Schoenberg (https://chartreuse.org/site/totems-2020), and remotely, between Rotterdam and Geneva.
